Well this is going to be a short one but I wanted to let everyone know what has happened over the last week! As you all know I have been planning another trip back to Indonesia over Christmas and New Years with a small team for another outreach. However I was really low on funds, and in no way could afford to go. So the team and I have been praying hard and a few days ago the money just came in!! So I am headin back!!! I am SO stinkin excited to get there and I just love it when God brings money in from everywhere to provide for me!!! I think that is one of my favorite parts of being in full time ministry! Its really exciting not knowing if you can pay for rent that week or if you can afford to pay your car insurance and stuff! Time and time again God has proven SO faithful to be my provider of everything I need and even at times abundantly over what I need!!

This trip is going to be completely Spirit led!! ha We have no contacts and have no idea where we will sleep? We just know which island we want to go to and which village we want to go to!! I love this stuff! We also know that it is a full-on Muslim Island and that there is reports of Christian/Muslim conflicts on the island. Please pray for us for safety and that God would guide us to wherever and whoever he tells us!!

Merry Christmas to all of you!! And may you have an amazing New Year! I pray that Jesus gives each of you a renewed revelation of his love and grace!!

I am hoping to update you as this trip unfolds!! I am however at the mercy of internet providers! haha But I will try my hardest to keep all of you updated!! Love yall!!!

Time for more stories!!!

Ok so I am going to start with a full on God ordained salvation!!

On October 6, was Ash's (english guy on my team) birthday. We wanted to do something really cool and we had heard about some waterfalls in a nearby village. So our host/contact Herman, asked around for some direction to get there. While talking with some of them there was a guy named Juang standing there. He works for UNICEF Tourist division and we said he knew exactly where to take us and he asked if he could join? So we gladly agreed and spent the whole day with him. Well God used this day to capture his heart and for the next three weeks he spent every night with us asking questions and just wanting to hang out. Soon he realized we weren't just tourist and asked what are you doing here? So we told him everything!! After that we began to pray hard for him to surrender his life to Christ! About a day or two after we meet him he asked one of my girls Noel, "So you all are like Jesus freaks or something?" She laughed and said "yeah, something like that" He immediately replied, "well can you pray for me because I want to be a Jesus freak too." He then gave his life to the Lord and hasn't looked back since! For the last 10 years or so he couldn't go to sleep without smoking weed before bed. After he accepted Christ he just quit almost that very day!! God gave each of us opportunities to disciple him for that last three weeks of our outreach!! It was absolutely incredible to see his growth in faith and seeing him walk it out!! One day he and I went for a walk down the beach for about 4 hours and we just talked about everything!! Then he shared how he was really scared about us leaving. I asked him why, and he said "because I'm afraid when you go I will just go back to the way I was. With out my family (he called us his family) here to support me how can I grow or stay strong?" I told him that while we had to leave, the family (church) is still here! Then he said, "I was praying this morning about this and I had a thought that Jesus is all I need." I told him that Jesus told him that and that the Holy Spirit is speaking to you! He just stopped walking and looked down to the ground and just started crying! He told me, "you mean the creator of the universe talked to me?" I just nodded and prayed with him!! This was just one of the things God did in Juang while we where there!! It was the biggest blessing to see Jesus call someone out of sin and misery to understand His love and grace!! I am still in contact with him and he is still going strong!! Learning more and more each day!!

I would be so grateful if you would please pray for Juang if you think about him!! He truly is seeking Gods face and wants to go deeper!!

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD?????

Well God has confirmed some huge things in my life and one of them is that I believe within the next year or two I will be moving to Nias fulltime!! ha and I am SO STINKING EXCITED!!!!! haha let me back up. When I went to Nias for the first time last year, God gave me a huge heart and vision for the island! My heart just broke for the youth and the people on Nias. Also he gave me a vision for a youth community center on southern Nias. So I just kept it quiet and was praying about it. About a month before going back I felt like God was intensifying the desire and dream I just got really excited about it. So the day I got to Nias I was talking with Herman (our contact) and was just asking him what was happening? He told me that he just quit his job. Which I was blown away because he had been working for Surf Aid international for the past 3 years and it was a great job. Which are hard to come by on Nias. Anyway I asked him why what happened? He told me he felt like God was telling him to do full-time ministry and start a community center!! I seriously almost crapped my pants because I hadn't told him anything about it!!! After talking with him about things God is building a team there to start this dream to become a reality.

My immediate plans are: I am here doing debrief with my staff and after that I am planned to go back to Indo on December 12 till January 12. However because I lost my passport on Nias I had to spend quite a bit on money to get it back. So if the finances are there in 3 weeks I am heading back to Indo. If not then I guess the Lord just wants me here?? So thats the short term plan....
